Thanks all of you for the info. I did check some gear prices and I think I will look for a new rear instead of replacing parts.

I also noticed the cast housing for the final differential bearings are broke. When you use the jacking bolts on them, whoever worked on it before me must not have removed the bull gears first. Both of them are boken (they still hold the bearings though).

I am going to take that bottom shaft out now that I know how. It is not going to whup me.
