Redfan, I swear on my Farmall, er Bible, I mean, that the 28 years is no error. Been with IH all my life, so I consider it part of the family. The day of the Case-IH merger I consider 1 of the worst 2 days in my life, the other the day Dad died. However, in reality, the Case-IH merger was probably the best thing to happen. Without Case(or Tenneco, for that matter), a lot of wonderful technology would not be around today as no doubt, IH would not be around AT ALL without a dancing partner as the 80's were a TERRIBLE time for agriculture in the United States. Give Case credit, without them, my generation would never been able to enjoy the Magnum, Axial-Flow & other IH-derived products still produced today. I just hope the Case/New Holland merger still keeps the "IH" logo somehow, somewhere in the future.
