Do you still have good spark?? Is the intake manifold gasket in good shape?? If the engine won't even "pop", try putting a teaspoon of gasoline directly into the spark plug holes (remove the plugs first). You should put some engine oil in the cylinders first because all the attempted starting has dried out the cylinders and you have very poor compression not to mention the wear dry rings cause on dry cylinders. Put the plugs back in, attach the plug wires, and see if it will start for a moment.
