I'm 42 and work for a major auto supplier that makes Anti Lock Brakes system. I do electro-magnetic-compatiblity (EMC) testing.
Knowing nothing about tractors at the time (other than I "needed" one), a friend recommended a '54 Ford NAA w/ Dearborn loader for my "new house/new lawn" project (something small yet versatile).
Since landscaper bids were out of sight in this booming country community, I deceided to do it myself. After it handles the 130yds of top soil alone, I was hooked. That was in '94
I still need to do the back yard landscaping, but use it for snow removal (this last year esp), firewood hauling, fence post pulling, fall boat removal, and just being a really nice neighbor to have around when something needs doing. The tirechains, 6' blade and dirt scoop for the 3pt / 2 buckets and a set of forks for the loader have come in real handy.
