I live in Strathroy Ontario. I have since talked with a man in the insurance industry who advises me that the Detroit-Windsor area is a hotbed for prototype vechicles. Design engineers with various manufacturers have budgets for building these prototype vehicles. Some of these guys just want an exclusive vehicle for their own use, while others are seriously promoting the idea to their company. The vehicle I saw was white. I have since seen what I considered to be another copy of the same vehicle only in black, this one however I saw on highway so not positive it was the same. I can tell I have never seen any other than the two. My insurance friend tells me these vehicles go pretty much un noticed in the metropoliton Detroit-Windsor area. It's only when they stray to some far flung rural area that someone notices them.

The other item I might mention is 6 months ago the Navistar plant at Chattam Ontario was slated for closure. The latest news is they have saved the plant and it will continue to operate. I haven't heard anything on what they are building.
