Good Luck! I've been trying through several sources to find working diagrams or even a description of the parts and the specific function of them, with no success. Of course I haven't gotten any Farmall books yet. There's one at this site, but it's kind of expensive. The maker of the system on my 400 (Ensign) can't be found on the web. The folks here have been very helpful on other problems but information about LP systems seems very sparse. I am very impressed with mine. It hasn't given me any trouble. If it isn't broke don't worry about it, I guess.
So far I've learned that from the tank you go through the filter, that is the two valves, one vapor and one liquid. Then there is one line from there to the vaporizer that acts as the carburator and feeds the gas/air mixture into the manifold. What I am having difficulty with is that the throttle linkage goes clear up to the front of the engine to the governor and I haven't figured out how that effects the feed of more fuel to the engine when put under more load. For example when your tractor and brush-hog goes over a dip and it turns into plow for a short distance. If you find any info please post it on this forum.
