Your float is probably stuck, and not closing the needle valve, this is probably the most common problem on A,B,C,H,M, etc carburators. Clean your carb and put a kit in. Make sure the screen in the sediment bowl is clean, sometimes they completely rust out. A bigger problem is that your gas tank may be rusty and need cleaning. You could also have an ignition problem.
