If the hub fails what will be the result? To me it doesn't matter if you are going to drive fast or pull hard. When that sucker lets go the potential for serious injury is great at any speed or pull. As readily available as hubs and wheels are why would you operate with that known defect? Six years from now your teen ager might be the victim. Operating these old machines is a lot of fun but we don't need to increase the hazards of our hobby. My nickel.
