you should be able to blow thru the ports and figure it out. routinely the "IN" and "OUT" will be on opposite sides of the valve. in the neutral center position, blow thru the ports and air sould go straight thru on one pair.
---the cylinder ports are normally just a couple inches apart and probably on the same side of the valve. pull the valve spool forward to the "raise" position. now blow thru the ports and the inlet will go to the "raise" and the outlet would be connected to the "lower" or drain side. next push the spool in to the "lower" position. now the two cylinder ports will be switched and the inlet will be connected to the "lower" port and the outlet will be connected to the other end of the cylinder which is now the drain. you can also look at a couple valves at the local farm store to get an idea. many valves have the ports numbered or lettered if you look close. it helps to number the ports, then make a drawing of which are connected when you are in neutral, raise, and lower positions.
