I'm looking at disking my new pasture this coming week. I'm hopefully going to be using my Farmall 504 gas good TA. I've got one set of wheel weights on the back tires, 70lbs weights on the front tires, and a full stack of suitcases on the front (about 750lbs). I've got another set of rear weights I could put on the back tires if needed. I'm not exactly sure how big the disc is, haven't seen it yet. The guy I'm borrowing it off of uses a 4wd Belarus (about 48 hp). About how big can the ole girl pull? The ground is pretty flat and straight. Their is one hill about 20-30' raise over a 60' run. Hoping the 504 will handle it. I've already had a JD in there plowing it, it would be nice to see an IH finish the job. Thanks!
