The Super H carb is somewhat different from the one on the H. The book says to turn the idle mixture screw all the way in then open one turn. With the throttle closed adjust the IDLE STOP screw to a low idle, then adjust the idle mixture screw until the engine runs smoothly. Final adjustment is made with the engine warm. Here is the different part: The main mixture screw on the H and M is usually turned out 2-3 turns to allow the engine to start, then when warm, turned in until it runs rough, then out until smooth. The Super H main mixture screw is turned out FIVE turns off its seat for maximum power. Apparently this is a fixed jet like the ones on the C113/123 engines, except it has a screw that can be turned in if you do not need max power. I adjusted a rebuilt carb on my Super H the "old" way, and still had a stumble under load. I then tore down the tractor for restoration, and have not yet reassembled it. So try the main jet at 5 turns out, and go from there. If that does not work, you might have the float set wrong, or perhaps it developed an ignition problem.

"Run in the house and get me a...."as I open th
