Micheal: All fast hitches were optional equipment. As to mounting a fast hitch on a tractor, it must be a tractor designed for fast hitch, and the hitch you acquire must be designed for the tractor you want to put it on. I presume your tractor is a 300 from the post you entered. A hitch from a 200 or a 400 will not fit. A hitch from a 350 or 460 will but make sure you get the control valve with the hitch as the valve is different from 300. The valve will fit your 300. The other tractor I'm not sure on is 340. You must also watch for the differences in Farmall and Utility hitches.
