I quite agree with everyone who responded that these small tractors were not intended for loaders or large plows but I have some interesting info that I felt some of you may be interested in knowing. Just tonight I worked away and finally got the Henderson Loader up and running after 10 or 15 years. What really surprised me was how heavy the stearing got ( obviously with the weight of just the loader ). I've had the plow I bought on and it is no where near that heavy. The tractor has been in our family for 30+ years and always had this loader. We never did it for any heavy working, it's just to do odd jobs around the 8+ acres. While the steering isn't exactly tight as new, I wouldn't say it's that bad either. I do think however I am going to leave the loader off when not in use, while the tractor has been going this long with it on, I figure I can help it out by limiting its time on it. Anyhooo.... hope someone can benefit from my experience. Thanks too all for your inputs. Brian.
