I leased a truck many years ago before my yearly income caught up. My advantage was lower monthly notes. At the end of the lease, you have the option to buy it at a fraction of the cost that they could sell it for if you turned it in. The price you pay for it at the end of your lease period has to be in the lease contract. You can add up what you have already paid over the lease period and what you must pay to keep the truck and see the total it will cost. If you know ahead of time that you are going to buy, the millage don't mean anything. You may want to check out "Smart Buy" also. Neaither one is perfect for everyone.
