Thanks Will. I wired everything today according to the book and all worked perfectly. I made sure that everything was making a good ground.
My grandfather bought this baby new in 1940 and it has been on the farm for 63 years. I "retired" it this spring. Lights probably haven't worked in 20 years. Made lots of repairs so far and still going. Great fun and much satisfaction.
