As long as you have the head off anyway, remove the valves and take a look at the condition of the valves and seats, and also the condition of the valve guides. Doing this will also give you the opportunity to clean out any carbon build-up inside the ports.
Unless the H has had a recent valve job, you will no doubt find that it needs a valve job.
Even if it was running good before, it is truly amazing how much better it will run when the valves are up to snuff.
