I finally bit the bullet and ordered a new manifold for my H today. Ordered it from Bermuda Ken at C&G. First time I ever talked to him, he's a real nice guy. Thanks Ken!! After I got off the phone, I took some PB Blaster out and sprayed the manifold bolts and noticed the underside of the battery was wet (no battery box). Took the battery out and found a hole on the bottom side of it. :( I decided I would patch the hole with some JB Weld so I smeared some on and then I put a piece of duct tape over the patch to hold it in place. Tommorrow I'll fill it up and see if it holds. Now the $10,000 question - will the manifold bolts come out easy or will they break off in the head? I guess I'll find out in 4 or 5 days.
