Yes I have and it works ; but it dosen't keep the rust from coming back ; a 5 part to 1 part overnight will do the trick but be very careful : wear plastic gloves and i would suggest a gas mask only if your going to be around it alot ; i used a tank liner for my gas tank ; got the liner from a motorcycle shop or dealership ;without the liner the gas tank will rust right back evrn worst than it was before; oh yea make sure that you dilute the acid with warter to bring it to neutral before getting rid of it
