I've installed a tach and a voltmeter on my M. Any tach that will hook up to the points connection will work. I used a couple of meters from old auto test equipment. I then build an enclosure for the meters and mounted it above the temp and oil gauges. It looks strange but serves it's purpose. Have fun.
