Hey Bill, First order of business "overrunning clutch", this is an attachment that goes on the pto shaft coming out of the rear of the tractor. It has a ratchet type system in it that lets the mower keep turning with the transmission pto stopped. Works kinda like a ratchet you use in your socket set. Farm supply stores should have them and they run in the 50 to 60 dollar range(give or take) As far as make or model of mowers, drag type mowers should be fairly plentifull most everywhere. Servis makes a good one and Bush Hog, Deere, and so on. I know of about at least a dozen sitting around my neck of the woods. Where are you located? Se
