Craig: Are you sure it is 866, doesn't sound right, must be 886. 886 was built between 1976 and 1981-82. It may be 77 to 81, but close. The early ones had an American built 360 ci in IH engine and later models had a German built 358 cu in IH engine. Both very good engines, personally I like the American engine as it had more torque. These were a very popular tractor in my neck of the woods. Dealer told me one year he sold more 886 than all other models combined. Still quite a popular tractor. As for price only auction will tell that in your area. If it is in good shape don't expect it to go cheap.
