We had both 1566 and 1586, as said they are extremely powerful 2WD machines and great for all day heavy field work. They truly seemed to be a step up in power over the 1466 and not a "turned up" 1466. Ours spent a lot of time pulling in 3rd low and we never really noticed the lack of a 4 speed. In my area (Kansas) they now seem to be selling really cheap, anywhere from $3500 to $7500 but never see them go any higher then that no matter how good. Don't try to substitute one for a 856 size tractor, they are just too heavy and cumbersome to do the same kind of work.
