I don't think you can tell. The SA, C, etc used Zeinth 161 X 7 and 67 X 7. In the parts book IH uses their own numbering system, usually 6 digits, followed by R91, etc. The 600 R9 does not match anything I can find, that could be a Zeinth designation (they have several different 161 x 7's, etc). I think you need to call the guy and find out what he "thinks" it fits.
