I am an analytical chemist and R&D manager for one of the major chemical manufacturers. I currently have a '33 and '35 F-12, a '39 and '47 M, and the "newer" farm tractors - a '72 IH 454 and a JD 2350 (it just slipped in there), with an '89 Bobcat 743 thrown in... I live in SE Penna, but my tractors live on my parent's farm in SW Penna. That makes it kind of tough to work on them, but that's my goal when I retire in about 15 years! I figure I can buy'em now, and fiddle with them to get/keep them running until then. My father has never been so excited aboutworking on tractors before, and he always has one out playing with it between visits! Of course, the REAL money starts when restoring! I am currently painting the '33 F-12. She's starting to look real nice, too! This is a greast board -- Thanks to everyone who is so responsive to all the questions asked!
