Interesting. I did the same in 1998 and bought a
Farmall 1568 (same as 1566 exept it has a V-8 Diesel engine. And in 2002 I bought a Case 1030
Western. I would go for the 1566 it has tremendous
horsepower, but no diff.-lock. and it could use an
extra speed between 1st and 2nd. Some did not have
the TA. I shipped mine home in a container but I
left the cap where I bought it and I had to cut 13" of either rearaxle, to make it narrow enough.
Once I got it home I welded the pieces back on be-
cause that is where my duals are mounted.
