Hawgman, the right front of the engine on the housing for the magneto is a screw on flat cap, the size of a large jar. On the side of the oil pan are two cocks,the oil level should be between...if you open the top and no oil drains out but it does from the bottom one you will know the oil level is between..if no oil come out the bottom you need oil!..I usually add very slowly until I see it begin to seep out the top cock, then I know it is filled..good luck with the M...Mike in Exeter ontario
