I had trouble getting mine to seal dry ? And had to remove it again due to water in the oil. I learned the hard way, The solution for me was to use some brake cleaner on the head and block surfaces, This takes off any grease or oil and also evaporates quickly. Then use the permatex cooper gasket sealer that is in the aerosol can and give both sides of the headgasket a good coat or two. Yours may seal ok dry, but in my opinion its best to use the sealer, its kind of like insurance. good luck , Jonathan Mirgon
