Something I've found out on changing tires is after you get the first half of the tire mounted, smear vegetable shortening on both beads and everything goes 10 times better. Don't use regular grease, because oil products rot rubber. And don't smear it on before getting half of the tire on because you'll have one heck of a time getting it caught on the rim to start it!
