Go with 4-pad clutch plate or not?

I recently bought a new clutch friction plate for my 1946 A
from an internet site. It is a 4-pad heavy duty clutch, but
the pads look so much different from the lining on the
original plate that it made me wonder. Is there an
advantage to using the new 4-pad plate or should I stick
with something like the original? This tractor will see only
light duty, occasional work.
