Farmall Wide Front

Hi Guys,

I've located and am in the process of buying an old M or H (haven't made up my mind yet).

Anyway, neither one has a wide front end, which I need. All the salvage yards are asking $800 and up for old junkers.

There used to be a company called "Swartz" which made an aftermarket front end, but I'm wondering if they are now out of business, as I can't seem to locate them.

Were these bad front ends? Are there any other alternatives? Am I at the mercy of the salvage yards with their "buyer beware" attitudes?
