Still working on that Super A generator.

Today I reviewed the wiring on the generator, re-poloarized it and still nothing. I also noticed that the voltage regulator was not pulling in. I have the 4 position light switch. I'm not under the impression I will have to shell out to get it rewired, however I do have a question. I used the wiring diagram which i found in the archieves which seems to fit my tractor design. I noticed on mine though a wire going from the F pole to the side of the regulator which is marked with a "M". this is not how the diagram reads. It says that the F terminal goes to the amp meter. My "A" pole was connected to the Ampmeter.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
