I had my 400 out raking hay today. I noticed a growling type sound. Not a grinding sound or any thing like that. It seems to be coming from the area where the TA lives. The sound is only when moving with gears ingaged. Not there when moving and clutch disingaged. ( clutch pushed in) I know the TA is weak on the low side. It works fine until you get any load on it. Then it just slips. Les see... The growling gets loader when you increase the load. Like going up a slight incline. Could this be related to the TA or maybe a bearing in there or some thing. Any Ideas? I know I will be spliting her for a TA over haul. Just only want to do that once.
