in late 52 & 53 IH was already starting SH - your H got SH brakes like a few other late ones-they just were "useing" up the H parts and finished the tractor with whatever they had.......IH did that on all the models in "changover" years........to a lot of collectors your H is worth more than a SH because it's more unique/rare (i once sold a W4 for a sizable premium just because it was 19 from the last one made & had "Super" Brakes)......i have a late 1953 W6 (same story)-i'll get a good premium ,or keep it - cause i know i'll never find another !!
