Peabody: If I remember correctly you have done a fair bit of restoration on this tractor. Did you get into governor at that time? I had to replace the thrust bearing on two of my tractors and spring on internal governor linkage on 130. However by your description sounds as though adjustment on linkage between governor and carb, is off a bit. I would try the adjustment on that linkage first, it's not far off so just try 1-2 turns of yoke at a time. Sorry I cant remember direction, so just play with it, as you will need that freed up if you do install a thrust bearing. It's definately not internal spring or you would have no lever control. If adjustment doesn't cure, probably thrust bearing is problem.
