putting turbo on 656 diesel

Does any know what brand and number of turbo that will work on my 656 with a 282 diesel. Was told need one to work at a lower rpm cause the motor only turns around 1800 rpm. Is there a place where the oil drains into the motor on a 656 diesel? I have a to4b90 in my shop, but a mechneic told me it would not do any good that it is used on 400ci and up motors that turn 2400 rpm
