Check your ignition timing. If it's off too much you will get overheating. A good radiator and engine flush will maybe help also. Did you pre-mix the antifreeze and water? If they aren't pre-mixed, they won't circulate. The difference in density of antifreeze and water will inhibit the thermosiphon action.
