Your block is probably plugged. It is some work but take the radiator off and then remove the bottom return on the block. Get a good lite and look in there you can take a wire and remove lots of junk and rust using compressed air and water pressure to remove the junk. There are holes between the sleeves that are probably plugged about the size of a nickle by running water in the top inlet you will be able to see if it can run out the bottom. This is hard to explain but these passages get plugged over the years and they are hard to find thru the lower part of the block. but by blowing and probing you will get water to flow thru the block and out the bottom. good luck gene b glad to help you can e-mail any time
