And if the serial number tag has been removed, the serial number of the engine is the same, and is stamped in the block just above the magneto. If the tractor has a wide front end, it sounds like an A, if it has a narrow front, it sounds like a B. If it has a flathead 4 cyl engine and wide front it is a Cub.
