$500 doesn't sound bad for a runner. Here in New Jersey, saw a non-runner (missing carb) on full steel sell for $2000, but it had been dry in a wagonhouse unused since the end of WWII. Still had original paint and stencils. Auctioneer said S/N made it a 1930 model. Carb apparently had been removed for rebuild and was misplaced. The family used their 2 9Ns and an A-C WD-45 for the farming and just left the 10-20 set. The guy died in the mid '60s. Wife and kids packed everything away in the barns, boarded up the old house and rented out the land. In 1999 the descendents cut the trees from around the buildings and pulled everything out and sold it off. I don't think I'll ever see a sale like that one again.
