Thanks for your advice on this and the use of a paint brush. I tried the foam type but they didn't last long so I went to a brush as you advised. It worked well but I had to two coat the rims. I got some brush marks but they(rims) look pretty good. This wasn't a restoration anyway - just wanted the tractors to look good. It was fun but frustrating doing this painting and I think I got better at it as I went but much still to improve on! Thanks again. WNM
