Get a operators manual and follow the procedures in ther. Dad had one, and everything has to be set right for it to work, and you have to use the best twine yo can get, not the cheapstuff. On thing to do first is to sharpen the twine knives. Also, dad oiled the little rollers that the twine comes through on the twine boxes, BIG mistake.Do not oil them, needs the tension on the twine. Other than that, I didn't mess with it much. When it was working right, it did a good job. Oner more thing, keep it running up to speed, does not like to run slow.
