I guess I am confused as to what you are asking/wanting. Do you still have the original starter? If so you can have this rebuilt at a good starter/alternator shop. That would be my suggestion. They would be able to test your windings, etc. If people tried to put a starter in and didn't succeed, what was the problem? Wrong starter? Your local Case/IH dealer should be able to get you a replacement starter that fits your Super C.
