F-12 and F-20

Trying to help a friend who is settling his Dad's estate. Has what I think is an F12 and an F-20 that are in good shape on the ooutside, but have not been run for several years. What should he be looking for to get an idea of asking price. Do not have serial number yet, but know that would be of great help. Any body got a range for the serial/year?
