Check tractor salvage yards, farm equipment dealerships, and the classified ads in your local farm newspaper. There are millions of good used aftermarket cabs out there that you can buy for under $200. Popular brands are Hiniker and Year-a-Round. A cab off of any 06, 26, or 56 series tractor will work the best. If it is off of anything other than a 706, it will need minor modifications, because the 26 and 56 series had a wider operator's platform, and anything 806 and bigger has taller hoods. I bet you could even make a factory 66 series red cab fit. If I was to reccomend a cab, I would say the IH factory cab used on 26, 56, and early 66 series. Talk to your local Case-IH dealer, see if they can give you the name of a company that reconditions IH cabs.
