I have a 40 "A that came with both shanks for under belly cultivation . I also have a few spring teeth for the rear and shanks that go along with it. I have never tried to mount the cultivators but do know I have a shank and a few teeth missing. Is it possible, in your case, that the one lever should be configured to raise/lower the rear part- spring teeth/shanks? Just a guess on this one. I have a plow also that I do use in the spring and fall and use 2 levers on the right side to raise/lower and change pitch angle on the point.
