If you use it sparingly, you can put a lens back together with clear "5-minute" epoxy. It doesn't look perfect, but it keeps water off of the headlight reflector. I put the lens on my '47B back together this way and it is still together. If you over-do the epoxy and have a lot of "squeezeout", the excess epoxy will turn slightly yellow as compared to the clear lens. If you fill in a missing glass chunk with epoxy, it will also turn slightly yellow. My Case/IH dealer also told me that the only part listed was a complete headlight assembly, and he couldn't even get that part any more. I'll probably get struck by lightning for saying it on this board, but I wish my Case/IH dealer was as agressive at finding parts for me as my JD dealer is at finding parts for my "other" tractor.
