Hi all. We purchased our first cub about 4 years ago and it is all restored an looking the part. It is s/n6297 so 1947 and the first year of production. This is were it gets interesting. We have just found and purchased s/n 6300. With plough, mower & cultivators handbooks and in damn near mint original condition. Some degreasing will fix that. But go figure that 60 years on all the gear has been looked after and kept together. What was IH doing sending a shipment of Cubs to NZ in the early part of production, i wonder how many were in that shipment? How strange to match two up again that came off the assembly line on the same day and came down under. If they were a him and hers this would be a good love story ending!! We have to find another one now to accomiodate all the implememts but not a bad problem to have i suppose.
