1) Can someone please tell me the length of the dipstick measured from the tip to up under the cap and the distance from the tip to the "Add' line and the 'Full' line. Mine was removed after I paid for the tractor and before I hauled it home. 2) Is there a heavy gauge wire or a solid copper rod from the solenoid to the field coils on the starter? Someone used a 12ga stranded wire and it fried the insulation. There is a square, rubber lined opening for the wire/rod to pass thru between the case and the end plate. I don't know if it's the original starter. I tried using a short length of #4 battery cable, but it doesn't want to bend in that small a radius to meet the coil bar. Thanks for your help.
