The MD is a bit more costly to bring back to life than the M. Everything on it is more expensive to replace. They also had a tendency to crack the head if not cooled down properly. Try getting it running (by towing or cranking) annd make sure there is no oil in the water or vice versa. If everything checks out okay and you only need a starter it's not a bad price.
