I bought new set of wires,points,condseor,cap,12 volt. coil and still no fire to distr. cap wires plugs etc. I get power to all the wires on the control panal and followed all the wiring diagrams. put the TDC compression stroke at the number 1 plug and put the black button in the distribitor pointed at the number1 plug. my battery takes a licked and it still is kicking and the starter still turn and has power to the lead attached to the starter but no power per test light to the coil side of wiring. I have a push button start and a key ignition but it is not hooked up does the key ignition need to be wired to the system also even though i have a push button start? the key ignition is only on and off switch and its not connected to the wiring system could this cause the problem?
